Insignificance

Insignificance is a project that expresses my concerns of climate change and environmental pollution. It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become a huge concern of the present-day world. We see tons of news in all corners of our planet, in regards to rising sea levels, desertification, torrential monsoons, melting glaciers and ocean acidification. I wish I could help to extinguish the Amazonian fire. I wish to sweep away the dense murky smog of Beijing. I also wish to scoop up the trillion pieces of micro plastics that occupy our precious waters. Though, as a miniscule individual, I feel insignificant and defeated, because I can only contribute so much on my own. It is hard to ponder on the severity of the issues, but it is even harder to be aware of how little I can only hope to do.
