Through a five-image narrative, Life depicts the life story of a bird. It recounts back to the first crack on an egg as the fragile chick emerged from its sanctuary. The bird grew as feathers filled in and stretched long, long enough for the young adult to attempt its first flight. Hastily maturing through the seasons, the bird then found a mate, a lover and a companion. The two created a new egg, bringing yet another new life to the world. This is the story of a bird and its natural cycle of life. It was a story inspired by the birth of my own first child.
